  • Online tools

  • Personal data

This is an English translation for convenience. The Spanish version is the governing text.

1.Website owner and acceptance

The website https://ecohidro.com.co belongs to ECOHIDRO, the trade name of a natural person domiciled in Dosquebradas, Risaralda, Colombia, email [email protected] and phone +57 333 224 2255. By using the website you accept these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.

2.Scope of the information

The content of the website is for information and general guidance. It does not replace professional advice on your particular case or an opinion from the environmental authority.

References to regulations (resolutions, decrees and laws) correspond to the rules in force when they were written and may change. The obligations of each business depend on its activity and on what the competent authority or the sewer service provider determines.

3.Online assessments and calculators

The assessments and calculators on the website provide guidance results, calculated in your browser with the information you enter. They are not a definitive technical opinion, a guarantee of compliance or a commercial offer.

Approximate values do not include the fees charged by authorities or providers for their procedures, unless stated. The formal quote is delivered after reviewing the information about your case or after a technical visit.

4.Communications by WhatsApp and email

When you use the WhatsApp or email buttons, the website prepares a message with the information you chose. It is sent from your own application, through third-party services with their own terms of use and privacy.

5.Hiring services, payments, cancellations and refunds

The website does not sell services online. Each service is hired through a written proposal that ECOHIDRO sends to the client and that the client accepts by email, WhatsApp or signature. The proposal sets the scope, the price in Colombian pesos, the applicable taxes and withholdings, the advance payment, the payment method, the schedule and the particular conditions. If anything in the proposal differs from these terms, the proposal prevails.

  • Advance payment and scheduling. The sampling day, the visit or the start of the design are scheduled when the client pays the advance stated in the proposal.
  • Rescheduling. The client may reschedule a visit by giving the notice stated in the proposal. If on the day of the service the conditions at the site prevent it from being carried out (no access, no discharge, no power), the travel and laboratory costs already incurred are charged as agreed.
  • Cancellation by the client. If the client cancels before ECOHIDRO has incurred costs, the advance payment is refunded. If the client cancels after laboratory, travel, equipment or work costs have been incurred, those costs are deducted from the advance payment and any balance is refunded within the following fifteen (15) business days.
  • Cancellation by ECOHIDRO. If ECOHIDRO cannot provide the service for reasons of its own, it refunds the full advance payment.
  • Right of withdrawal. When the contract is concluded at a distance (by email or WhatsApp), a consumer client may withdraw within the following five (5) business days, unless the service has already started with their authorization, under article 47 of Law 1480 of 2011.
  • Warranty. Services are provided with due professional diligence. Laboratory results are issued by laboratories accredited by IDEAM, and decisions on permits belong to the environmental authority; ECOHIDRO does not guarantee a favorable decision by third parties, but it does guarantee the technical quality of its work. Claims are handled through the contact channels, and consumer clients keep the rights granted to them by Law 1480 of 2011 before the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce.

6.Client portal

The portal https://portal.ecohidro.com.co allows clients to view their quotes, sampling plans and reports. Accounts are created by ECOHIDRO and are personal: the client is responsible for keeping the password safe and for reporting any suspected unauthorized use. Portal documents are for the client's use in connection with the service hired.

7.Intellectual property and image credits

The ECOHIDRO name and logo, and the texts, tools, drawings, models and original photographs on the website belong to ECOHIDRO and may not be copied or used for commercial purposes without written authorization. Reports, plans and designs delivered to each client are for that client's use for the purpose hired.

9.Personal data and cookies

The data you send us is processed under Law 1581 of 2012 and our privacy and personal data processing policy. You can access, update or request the deletion of your data by writing to [email protected].

10.Accessibility

We work so that the website can be used with a keyboard, with screen readers and with good contrast, taking the WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines as a reference. If you find an accessibility barrier, write to us at [email protected] and we will fix it.

11.Links to other websites

The website may include links to third-party pages (regulations, authorities, image banks). ECOHIDRO is not responsible for their content or their policies.

12.Liability and availability

ECOHIDRO strives to keep the information on the website correct and up to date, and the website available, but does not guarantee the absence of errors or uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, ECOHIDRO is not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of the website's guidance information or the results of the online tools, without advice on the specific case.

13.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. The current version is the one published on this page, with its update date. Services already hired are governed by the accepted proposal and by the terms in force at that time.

14.Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Disputes will first be resolved directly; if that is not possible, before the competent judges in Colombia, without prejudice to consumer protection actions before the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce. If you have questions, write to us at [email protected] or call +57 333 224 2255, or use the contact section.
